Scots Queen Accused of MurderQueen's Consort Found Murdered!

An enormous explosion rocked Kirk o’ Fields house yesterday, 10 February 1567, and the body of Henry, Lord Darnley, was found in the grounds. Palace officials have launched a nation-wide search for his murderer or murderers. Speculation is rife about who could be responsible. During his two years of marriage to Mary, Queen of Scots, Darnley made many enemies. Has the rebellious Earl of Moray dispatched him as step one in ridding Scotland of ‘the rule of women and boys’?  Did James Hepburn, Earl of Bothwell, arrange for Darnley’s demise to leave Mary free to marry him?  Was Mary herself responsible for Darnley’s death as revenge for the murder of Rizzio a year earlier?
