‘Mercat’ is an old Scots word for ‘market’, so our gift shop, The Mercat, is very aptly named for a spot of shopping. Located at our Blair Street premises alongsde the Vaults Museum, The Mercat Gift Shop is open to the public and easy to find - it's the perfect place to find a piece of Edinburgh’s story that you can take home!
